I’ve always had an appreciation of music and wanted to learn everything there was to know about how to mix and play music in a creative way. I spent a lot of time investing in equipment and practice mixing and blending music together. It has become a passion of mine and not just one of those things you do to make money. Every playlist I create has hours of thought and planning behind it. Anyone can play music, being able to blend multiple songs together to create a fun entertainment experience is what makes a great DJ.
WHAT’S BEHIND THE NAME DJ HEAT?
What’s Behind I have a 9-5 job. I’ve been in law enforcement for 17 years, and before that, I served 6 years in the United States Army. I selected the name DJ HEAT because of its connection to law enforcement and is a way for me to show respect for all those keeping the community safe. Now, I can continue to serve my community through music as well.
